You had one job As others have stated, the locking mechanism is terrible. One side locked better than the other, but still was barely strong enough to hold a few ounces of weight. I heated up the plastic and pushed the tabs out so the connection would be better, but it still wasn’t anything I wanted to gamble a dryer vent on.
