Buyer beware. Everything in the package looks identical to … My Whirlpool dryer which was otherwise working fine would screech for a few minutes after a cold start. I researched and learned one of the components of this kit would most likely fix the problem. Following videos I found online disassembly of the dryer was actually quite easy (I am no stranger to appliance repairs). While I did not isolate the screech when I took it all apart I was happy to learn that the original idler arm (belt tensioner) was not a roller but instead was this semicircular…
