I looked it up and found this thread. I was sick to think this was what I was going to have to live with. I went to Meijer and purchased a $4 bottle of Easy Off Stovetop Cleaner and the burns came right off. You have to shake the cleaner very well to get a quick result. So far, lots of great stuff and one unforgiveable flaw… I loved this unit. It looked great. I love the metal knobs and the big burner. I like the LED indicator. I like the auto-igniter.But then, about a week after use, the stainless steel GOT BURNT! The flames permanently stained the stainless steel on one of the big burners on the side.
