Easy and Effective Trenton Bennet’s lead review of this coffee maker cleaner is ‘spot-on.’ I have been using vinegar and baking soda to clean my Bunn Coffee Drip machine. Great a removing coffee stains. Good at removing calcium buildup. Usually use vinegar with good results about every 2-3 months. Our water is supplied from a spring. Tried this product. Following directions measured amount of product and water. It didn’t all dissolve and what did not dissolve clumped into small rock-like solid. Decanted into coffee maker taking care not to add the solids left to the coffee maker. Not sure why it all din’t all dissolve.??? Probably fine for industrial coffee makers It did what it was supposed to do in terms of getting rid of the coffee oil buildup; but it also ended up contributing to the demise of my Mr. Coffee 12c drip coffee maker. To be sure, one is supposed to follow directions for cleaning, and the coffee maker insisted on using vinegar; but I hate the smell, and people at work recommended brew-rite.
