Comparing this fit and fresh mini mixer with the Norpro mini mixer Protien powders and other such dry nutritional mixes have the best consistency and feel less grainy if you mix them with liquid in your blender. Great for Protein Shakes! Let me start off by saying I love this product! I am one who works out at the gym and hates coming home having to use a blender to make a protein shake following a workout. The process is too much work and the cleanup always stinks. This mini-mixer obviously cannot blend ice, but that’s not what it’s intended to do. I used to be excited about this… I was initially very impressed with the product and raved about it to my friends. Far more convenient than throwing protein shakes into a blender, this little bad boy mixed it all pretty well. That being said, I feel I promoted it to others far too fast. After 2 months, it slowed down and was barely spinning. Yes, yes, I threw new batteries in. Then another pair of new batteries. Same issues. My guess is the motor was giving out. Either that or I have a household of weak batteries…
