Perfect replacement part fixed my dead electric range. I thought my options were to pay an expert to diagnose and repair, if I couldn’t figure out how to do it myself, or buy a new one. Fortunately, my engineer buddy suggested checking both elements because it’s a common reason for failure. Turns out, both elements were fine but while I had the back cover off, I noticed the burnt wire on the light socket!
