It keeps a nice tight seal Since my pressure cooker isn’t American made, I thought it was going to be a huge hassle and/or very expensive to replace the seal, so it was great to find and purchase this so easily. It fit perfectly on my 5 liter Hawkins Futura. The first time I used the seal, I had a little trouble getting the lid to close without leaks, but I haven’t had any trouble since. Maybe I put it in wrong side up. Later I noticed it actually says “other side up” on the wrong side, which I don’t think the…
