Must have been a seal that went bad. I thought of it as a Fill Valve I saw a customer comment where they said this unit wouldn’t work on a Miele.Well as a person who just resurrected a Miele dishwasher from the dead I would have to disagree. I replaced the vinyl inlet hose, attached it to the water valve. I then attached the old hot water inlet to the water valve. Once theses were connected, I clipped the old water valvet and clipped the electrical line. I took this electrical line and attached a quick connect/disconnect terminal to each wire…
Worked like magic! My dishwasher was not filling enough water and the service guys did a couple of things but could not fix the problem so I did some research and came up with the solution! Replace the water inlet valve.. This valve was very good condition even better than the one which was installed. It was delivered quickly and upon replacing it my waher was working like new!
