Be careful with safety locking mechanism in handle!!! UPDATED YET AGAIN!Ok! So I read the manual very carefully and determined what the problem was. Turns out the safety lock didn’t pop up and lock the pressure in because the flame from my alcohol stove wasn’t hot enough. When I tried it in the natural gas stovetop it worked fine.I really think the GSI person I talked to should have been able to figure this out from my description of what didn’t happen.
