I think this hose is a universal fit for several models so has a slightly different cut outs and tabs that are just not as good. The price was better than the exact Hoover … This works with my Hoover F7425 model. My connection is the type where you push in the hose and turn to secure. It does not fit as snugly and deeply as the old one. I needed a new one because of the spray nozzle not working.
