Great stand mixer, amazing deal I had never bought a refurbished product before, but after this purchase I think I will be shopping for refurbished everything. The machine came well packed (not in original manufacturer’s box, if that matters to you) and all pieces were intact. No part of the stand mixer looks damaged. In fact, it looks nearly brand new – the only thing giving it away is that the bowl lacks that brand new chrome sheen, but that would have happened after one use and wash anyway. Bought this model refurbished hoping for the better and so far got it! I’ve used this mixer for 3 weeks for 5 bread recipes and a handful of other including a delicate french cake recipe requiring the whip and long whipping of a batter. Really love this mixer it is powerful (I am heeding the KA warning to never exceed speed 2 with dough) long mixing made the machine a bit warm but not hot.
