This was mailed in a bag, and thus arrived bent. I tried to straighten it out, but the kink remained. It is so inexpensive that if I returned it, the effort and gas required would cost almost as much as the product. Too bad, since I bought it to replace an earlier version which had sufficed for a good while. On that one, the magnetic strip dangled for years but the product worked adequately.
