Never would pressure up. Would leak water and steam out the side of the handle. Have second one coming under warranty but will bet it will have problems also and be sent back for refund. Very disappointed in this pressure cooker. Get what you pay for I guess. Better off spending a little more money for an American made one who will stand behind their product. Called company on problem they told me to contact place I purchased it from. Contacted Amazon and they are sending me a new one…
