Best Blender Under $40 From my research this is the best blender under $40 out there. For whatever reasons, manufacturers have been making blenders with cheaper and cheaper parts over the years. This Oster 6844 replaced my long running cheaper ($29) Oster that finally broke (plastic bottom section near blade) after 5 years, but I should of kept the motor section as it was still better than more expensive Oster blenders currently available. And don’t waste your time with other brands, they are inferior at this price…
Nice glass jar but just so-so base Have used the blender four times to make fruit smoothie, and it does its job.Pros:1. I like the glass jar. It is very good quality.Cons:1. It has a threaded jar skirt. I searched online and people said the skirt is an old-styled model. The skirt makes disassembling blade hard.2. The buttons on the base are not of good quality.
