Great Movie! Wow…I am not getting the low ratings for this movie at all. OK, first the name says it all. Of course it is a movies about divers, so that is a given. If you don’t like dive movies, don’t watch it, simple as that. Boring? Not at all. Probably the best Deep Sea Diving movie made. This movie was better than I expected. I felt it was quite believable, with hard decisions about life and death faced by the crew. It was not predictable, and one certainly got a sense of what it would be like in a small diving capsule trapped on the ocean floor. They were sent down to weld a joint on an oil pipeline, and a storm came and their support ship was sunk, and the company simply abandoned them. So there they are at 650 feet below the surface. Not going to go into a lengthy review. However excellent film, especially for those with an interest for deep sea diving. Some aspects are not accurate….(we didn’t get heated conversations in helium voice for instance) but perhaps some technical accuracy has to be lost for the sake of the movie. I also loved that this doesn’t come packed with the usual Hollywood crap, there is no grandstanding, or moral lecturing. There is no superman hero.
