I finally found a Waste King replacement splash guard that allows food to go through. The nominal Waste King replacements on Amazon are not like the original that comes with the disposer. These “Waste King replacements” are made of hard plastic that is impenetrable to food. You have to remove them to use the disposer. This Whirlaway is the solution. It is made of the flexible rubber that easily allows food to go through it and is 3″ in diameter, so it fits the smaller drain design…
