Substitute for part 8563407 for Kenmore Elite model 165.13159 (and others) Less than half the price of anything available locally.Prime delivered even faster than promised. Works perfectly, dishwasher is cleaning again!Fit well: hint, screw the mounting screw into the new piece BEFORE trying to actually mount it.The screw hole did not seem to be threaded, but worked securely after I ‘cleared’ the threads. Solved my struggles in cramped space under the machine when screw initially would not work. Was not cross-threaded, don’t know what the problem…
Just installed this part and it fixed my dishwashwer. I have a Kenmore Elite model165.13159. The part number needed was 8563407, but I was told the W10158389 was a substitute for that part number. I couldn’t find 8563407, so I gave this one a shot. It was the exact same as the one I replaced down to the colors. I had a 6-1 error code (6 green blinks followed by a pause, and then 1 green blink). After researching online, I read to replace the water inlet. You’ll need pliers, and…
