Perfect fit, easy to install This product arrived in what appeared to be whirlpool packaging. Pull up the manual on how to take it out of your freezer if you are unsure how to do it. Taking it out takes about 5 minutes (be careful unplugging the unit as it was tight). You will need to i pull the cover and arm off the old one which takes another minute. Finally, Ice Again!! Ice, ice baby! Finally my Whirlpool is making ice again! Nice solid ice! This replacement is an ease to install, after watching a couple you-tube videos. I removed the wiring from this kit and after swapping the metal on/off ice maker arm from my original ice maker to the new kit, all that was left was to reinstall everything in reverse order.
