Not very reliable Having bad luck with these… after having another brand of what i suspect is a rebranded one of these fail in a week, ordered this one and similar problems.. only on this one the gasket unseated while making a work out shake, it was luckily not pulverized (ended up in the shake!) as it is silicone I believe and just ended IOC in two pieces. leaked black fluid after a few months… We’ve had a “Slushie Express” from Back to Basics for years and basically used the heck out of it. We evolved from slushies to smoothies and wanted a similar-style blender (beverage blended in the cup) that held a little more liquid.Update: January 2014- the Blender began leaking black fluid into all foods and drinks mixed with it.
