Anyone can replace their Pump ! Replaced the original unit in our 12 year old washing machine with this pump. Oh yeah, so that’s how quiet the drain pump is supposed to be.I’ve had the pump in service for a few months and the new one is making noise as well. I shoulda spent a little more and got the OEM piece.It’s now less than a year and the pump is overheating and shutting down. Whole basement smells like cooked motor. I took it apart and discovered the internal seal had gone bad and filled the whole…
