Easy to install! I wanted to wait a week to make sure ours still worked before writing a review. I am proud to say my husband installed this and it only took him about 20 minutes. No you tube! No google! I had to text him to make sure it was that easy before I reported that it was because he didn’t even struggle. He was proud to say it was not difficult at all. Good replacement part. Some hints on doing the repair. Needed an extra washer- easy fix. Appears to be a sturdy replacement part. The ice dispenser now works great. I did find on re-assembly that the dimensions on the threaded end of the shaft were slightly different than the original part. This resulted in some free play of the blades. Fortunately I was able to resolve this by adding an extra washer I had on hand – 3/8 inch inside diameter, 3/4 inch outside diameter, and about 1/16th inch thick. I placed it between the two plain plastic spacers that are farthest from the plastic…
