GE WD28X10177 Dishwasher Silverware Basket

Works Great Our dishwasher is a Whirlpool, not GE. But our old silverware basket was broken, so we measured it and found it was the same dimensions as this one. We ordered this one, and it fits perfectly. It is actually better than our old one because it is flat on the bottom, and can easily stand up on the counter while the kids put the silverware away. MUCH better than the one that came with our machine….. I’ve had company since May 2017. With continuous eating and drinking, my silver is constantly used. Before long, the basket that came with the Frigidaire automatic dishwasher was filled up but the rest of the dishwasher wasn’t. I don’t “crowd” spoons, forks, etc. and want it spacious so tableware is washed/rinsed well during the different cycles. I was a little unsure if this GE silverware basket would fit. Wish I had bought it eons ago…. We go through an unbelievable amount of silverware for three people. I totally don’t understand it, but it makes fitting them all in the dishwasher near to impossible. And I HATE when silverware are so shoved and smushed together that they don’t fully get washed. Never thought about getting a new basket. My son requested one.
