Exactly what I needed/wanted I am forever having to tell my husband whether the dishes are clean or dirty and although we had a disc/sign on the front of the dishwasher, that was apparently too tough to take notice of as I was always finding dirty plates, forks, etc. in with the CLEAN dishes. This mounts right on the top edge so it’s hard not to notice it, yet it’s not obtrusive. The slider is not loose so doesn’t move around after you set it.
