Oil Rubbed Bronze – Beware Painted-on Finish As other reviewers have noted, the oil rubbed bronze finish is painted on. I purchased this in 2011 and the paint started chipping soon after it was installed, exposing the silver metal underneath. Not what you want to see in your otherwise matched sink. After enough of how ugly it was, I finally pulled it out in 2015 and replaced it with a Kohler K-11352-2BZ, which appears to have a finish that is more durable. Love the product, HATE THE LARGE STAMPED IN LETTERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! InSinkErator is great as far as function goes, and is really a terrific garbage disposal, but as a company, I really wish you would listen to your design savvy clients. Pros: This item is a perfect color match with my new Blanco 441093 Decorative Basket Waste Strainer, Stainless Steel. I would have given it 5 stars, but Cons: PLEASE INSINKERATOR – do you just HAVE TO have your company name so large right in the middle of the sink flange????
