OK, it’s a very good idea, but I am pissed that the circumference of the supplied flex vent did not fit my dryer and no matter how I tried, the flex vent could not be tightened down on the dryer vent with the hose clamp. Supplied Vent is very rigid, don’t expect it to do much flexing and it will NOT fit dryer vent at all. Have H/A foil tape or a new Flex Vent on hand. I have had problems with the long vent kits in the past I saw this advertised and figured I would give it a try. Didn’t take long to figure out that I was about 2 or 3 inches short because the builder put the outside vent so close to the wall that it wouldn’t line up properly. I ended up using the existing elbow from the old unit and that made up for the difference. They have a 90 degree model of this so i would definitely measure before you purchase.
