The drinks are cold, and that matters to me My dad is in a private nursing home room, in a memory care unit where he doesn’t have immediate access to coffee or fountain drinks like the rest of the residents. He has moderate vascular dementia, and he’s still able to do a lot of things independently, so he’s been thirsty and frustrated when he wants or needs a beverage and can’t get it right away. They’re supposed to put a fountain in his unit with juice and soda, but waiting for that is like waiting for the dragons on Game of Thrones…
Quiet and Cool The NewAir AB-1200BC1 arrived in good condition and I let it sit as directer before plugging it in. When I did plug it in, I had to check and make sure it was cooling because it was so quiet. I see another reviewer has a loud unit, and I suggest that they contact the company for a replacement if possible.
