I need a 4 1/2 star rating! I really do love this, which is apparently a 5-star rating. I was really only looking for a replacement rubber ring for my Oster blender, when I came across this. For a very reasonable price, I got TWO rings, a new blade and the cup. I like to make smoothies, but it was a pain using (and washing) the whole blender, then pouring it all into another cup. While the cup was whole it worked fine. there are 2 little ears that locate this on the base and keep it from spinning. One of them developed a little hole which was not noticed until I put the full container on the machine and turned it on. The spray of green liquid which reached distances of 5 feet helped me find it. Exactly what I needed. I started out considering paying 60+ dollars for the Cuisinart personal blender-and-cups set, which was a decent price but I wasn’t sure I wanted to invest that kind of money when I already had a very nice Oster beehive blender.
