Don’t waste your money unless you don’t care about whether your rice (grain) is cooked evenly. Poor quality. China crap. this is the WORST rice cooker/steamer I’ve ever used. I had a true “Tiger” brand that was given to me as a gift back in 2003. I found out later it was a product costing $150 (back in 2003). It finally gave out. I tried like heck to find a comparable steamer that wasn’t as expensive. I read the reviews, I bought this.It burns the rice in the center of the insert (ie, it runs too hot in the center and doesn’t distribute heat well), leaves the rice either over cooked on the outside…
