but this iron is awesome. I have a cheap iron that is not … I usually do not write reviews, but this iron is awesome. I have a cheap iron that is not doing the job so I purchased this one. I was unexpectedly surprised at the way it performed. While making bias tape, I turned the heat up and it melted the fabric. No problem… When the iron cooled, I took my fingernail and removed the melted fabric from the plate. It came off without leaving any residue. In the past I have discarded irons because of the buildup on the plate, not this one. I could write a…
Works good, couple of annoying features. Works very well – does what it needs to do. But the on/off is built into the dial which is really difficult to turn. Dial is low profile under the handle and takes some effort to turn. I’m a guy but have to use two hands to spin the dial. I would prefer to have a separate on/off switch so I could turn off and leave the dial at the same setting I always use. But you have to spin the dial all the way to click it off.The other ultra annoying feature is the led light stays on all the…
