Another one bites the dust My dryer seems to enjoy trashing these knobs. The last one I bought lasted just a few months, so I bought this one. At least I didn’t panic like I did before when the dryer stopped working.. This one works fine, only it didn’t slide onto the spindle all the way back like the other ones did, but it works and I’m not going to force it. (And yes, I removed the metal piece from the previous knob before I replaced it with this one) I am trying to see if this will last longer by only turning the knob…

I tried to repair the controller knob several times: and about 2 months ago it finally stopped turning the timer. I’ve been meaning to call G*E and try to order another one: but I just kept putting it off.
