Works great to attach EZ mount to EXISTING 3-bolt mount I completely agree with the review by Ronald Linch. I replaced my old Insinkerator Badger disposal (piece of junk, sprang a leak after only 3 1/2 years) with a new Waste King L-8000. You don’t NEED it; but you may WANT it, I’m going to start by echoing what others have said – in most cases you will not NEED this adapter. It’s really all a matter of what this does and whether you WANT this adapter.Any new disposal will come with a mounting system so that you won’t NEED this adapter. Does a great job for what I bought it to do I bought the Waste King L-8000 garbage disposal to replace what was likely the original unit in my house. After getting the replacement in-house I started doing some preliminary work on what I would need to do to get it working (and the leaking unit out).
