At first I thought this wouldn’t work. I tried pushing it into the switch and it just pushed the switch back into the panel. So I removed panel by taking out 2 screws and lifting it straight up (it’s got 2 tabs that make it have to go up). I took out the switch and looked into the hole. It has 2 flats that need to line up with the keys on the knob. I used a small screw driver to turn the inside of the switch so the knob would go in.
