I discovered it lacked electrical continuity in one of the wires (open circuit) going to that connector so I used the old harnes This was an exact ice cube maker replacement–it is identical to the old one. Installed it myself and we are now overflowing with ice cubes and NO water leaks. Just read carefully and follow the instructions provided and use a 12-inch level to insure the unit is sitting just right. I had a problem with the new wiring harness.
