Major defect, poor service in otherwise great coffeemaker There are times I hate dinging a product online and this is one of them; this coffeemaker is nearly perfect. Great flavor, brews quickly, stays hot for a couple hours, yet it has a major defect; the brewing basket occasionally backs up and makes a gigantic mess all over the counter. It’s simple what happens, a small rubber o ring on the basket valve either gets out of place or gets stopped up with coffee grinds and backs up the basket causing it to overflow.
