The failure was diagnosed over the phone as likely a bad control board. Replacement including service call = $300. Works out to be $35/year for service. Hey, folks! It worked for 6 years, the started giving the F1 error code-flood activation swith lockdown. The tech has been out 5 times in the last year, and still hasen’t fixed it. I’ve paid for replacement of various parts, and the unit will work for 3 months and two weeks, then same problems again. Ironically, the warranty for service is 3 months, and it always manages to go just past…
