Premium genuine water filter tested and certified by NSF International standards. NSF Standard 42 Certified: Reduces chlorine, taste, and odor. NSF Standard 53 Certified: Reduces health related contaminants such as lead, volatile organic chemicals, and asbestos. NSF Standard 401 Certified: Reduces emerging chemical compounds.
Replace filter every 6 months or 200 gallons to maximize contaminant reduction.

You have to have it if you want filtered water out of your fridge. You could buy a knock-off brand but I prefer to go with what the refrigerator was designed for. Swapping these is as easy as push-in, remove the old one, push-in the new one until locked and done. You do need to run 1.5 gallons of water through it to prime it…but other than that…it’s simple!
