I especially like using a plastic filter that keeps me from throwing away a paper filter every day. I least liked the “snug” fit or the pot under the drip-dispenser. To assure that coffee does not drip down on the heat-element when the pot is removed, the dispenser presses snugly down onto the top of the pot. When removing the pot, you must “break” that snug fir; you must hold the Maker in place on the counter or you’ll walk away with the entire thing!I’ve had makers which dripped coffee on the element as you removed the pot.
