Wish I knew it was that easy I bought this and took my ISE Pro77 down out of the sink to install it. A royal pain for mine because all of the drain plumbing was glued except for a very little bit at the end and so it was quite difficult to remove the disposal. And the thing is frickin’ heavy (a small bottle jack is very helpful if you need to drop it and reinstall it or a new one).But the fun part was yet to come… Once I removed the disposal, the tailpipe connection was so botched up from who knows what…
This gasket was very easy to replace the old one, which was worn with missing pieces of rubber. All you have to do is, release the Insinkerator from the quick mount bracket with a 1/4 turn to the left (after disconnecting the drain and dishwasher hose and unplugging), then pull out the old one and push in the new one making sure you seat it correctly. Hang the Insinkerator back on the bracket and reconnect the plumbing and plug it in.Not too difficult for the do-it-yourselfer…
