Handle careful as they are easy to damage. These filters look okay and seem to do the job, but they are cheap, light and flimsy– for the price, that’s probably to be expected in hindsight. I ordered 2 filters and the packaging looked fine. When I opened it up, one filter was crushed and not usable (I got clearance to send it back for a refund). The second filter, and I’m not kidding, came apart as I was opening the plastic bag it was in. The normal plastic bag was stronger than the construction of the filter. I was able to put it back…

Man, I was really confused about the whole exhaust versus duct versus ductless thing, but lots of research led me to these & maybe I can help others. Apparently, the previous residents were using the wrong type of filter even though they’re the same size & both fit.If you turn your hood fan on & it blows directly outside through a hole/duct in your wall, then this is the filter you want.
