Three thumbs up from this rice aficionado Update 1.5 years post-purchase: the non stick pot is completely worn down (I hand wash only) and rice sticks to the bottom of the pot every time I use it. If Only The Steamer Basket Was Metal Instead of Plastic So far so good with this thing. I originally ordered the Oster one that says it holds 6 cups of cooked rice, and that seems to be a popular model, BUT, what they don’t mention is that if you fill it with rice to its capacity, it no longer contains the headroom needed to steam stuff in the basket.
