If I would have bought the more expensive brand name, it would still be under warranty. Be careful from reviews that say it works great the first week it’s installed! The original one worked for over 6 years! Open inside to look at “motherboard” connections like someone here had suggest. All connections inside washer were in good shape, no soldering needed…
So far so good with the doorlatch replacement.The good: very easy replacement and it is a much quieter clocking mechanism.The bad: it didn’t fix my door lock failure error code during wash cycles or the initial failure to lock the door at the beginning of a cycle.
