This belt, 5 minutes, and a 1/4″ wrench – Good as new My Kenmore MOD 110 started making some strange noises on a recent spin cycle. After canceling the cycle, I noticed no resistance when spinning the washer by hand. Immediately, I regretted stuffing the previous load to the point where I could barely close the door. It was just two days ago when our Whirlpool Duet Sport made a horrible noise of a belt slapping the side of the washer and then it broke and tangled up around the motor. We started shopping for a new washer, but I thought I’d give replacing myself a try. Less than $20 at risk.
