Replacement Controller for Maytag 5000 Series The controller board for my Maytag Series 5000 went out. The usual F70 code followed by it not event turning on. Seems to be extremely common on Whirpool/Maytag driers (they are the same driers, just retagged). It happened to me in 13 months, which seems to be how long the controllers last. I’ll never buy a Maytag/Whirlpool again, but this part worked perfectly and my drier is working again. Yeah.
