Cooks basmati rice perfectly with equal rice to water ratio. This is a very nice and easy to use rice cooker. When making basmati rice I use an equal portion or ratio of water and rice. For example, I cooked 2 cups of dry basmati rice with 2 cups of water and selected the glutaneous rice feature and also selectec turbo. The rice turned out like it should, seperated and fluffy.
