Works Good. I would give this 5 stars, but we were spoiled by our prior ice maker which was 28 pound capacity. We got this smaller version because I was tired lugging my heavy my old ice maker to the sink once every week or two when I wanted to give it a thorough cleaning (more on that topic in a moment) When you turn it on, the first batch will be small ice cubes, no matter what setting you put.
