Powerful chemical acton This product is amazing. I have to start this review with a bit of admission. I didn’t know that I was supposed to decalcify my espresso maker! I’ve been using the same espresso maker for at least seven years, without ANY decalcification. I do live in a place with very soft water, so that’s why it was even working at all. My sort of entry level espresso maker began to dispense hot water very slowly, obviously plugged up. I bought this stuff, made in Switzerland.I ran it through for days and it got better and better, slowly. Now the machine is about 75% back, tolerable. I used this product on my DeLonghi espresso maker and it just didn’t do the trick. Granted, I have fairly hard water where I live. I do filter it, however. When my machine started running a little rough, I thought that the Durgol Espresso Descaler would be the perfect solution.
