Fixed my Vornado circulator fan!
I do like the product in general though and the two different … I originally bought this to oil an old electric wall clock motor due to the increasing noise. It did quiet the gears for a short period but not for long. I’ve used it around the house on door hinges and it seems to work as well as other oils that I’ve used in the past. Actually I expected more from it in relationship to the clock motor due to the hype but I have read that a clock motor may take some actual grease on its moving parts along with oil. Liquid Bearings worked wonders I have two small electric fans, (8″ in diameter), which were squeaking in all three speeds. The fans were over 3 years old. I took the front grills off and removed the fan/motor assembly from the rear grill and applied a single drop of oil to the front and rear sides of the two shaft bearing assemblies, (4 drops total).
