Love this thing. Expensive but worth it if you enjoy rice. Let’s start off with me stating that I am a chef. I know the Zojirushi brand from several commercial kitchens I’ve worked in, and know the quality product they turn out. Also, I’ll state that I would never spend this much on a rice cooker for my home, if not for receiving several Amazon gift cards for Christmas. That all being said, I love this little machine. If this were any fancier, it would sprout arms and legs and make my bed every morning for me! I received my rice cooker almost a month ago now but am just now writing a review because I wanted to try all of the features before writing about my experience. Plus, i wanted to try the crazy 3 hour GABA brown rice setting which really intrigued me. First things first though. Yes, I could totally tell the difference in the umami white rice setting.
