Great Ice Machine, Get Warranty This is my second ice maker. My first was an Ivation (the older model, not the terrible one they have available now). It worked great for about a year, then started making a horrible grinding noise right before it bit the dust.This ice maker is very similar except the buttons are on the lid, instead of behind it on the actual machine. Works well This is a fine ice maker. It creates little tubes of ice. The ice falls into a catch basin. The catch basin is directly over the water reservoir. The new ice bullets start melting as soon as they are created. The melt water falls into the water reservoir to be made into new ice bullets. I originally purchased a different make and model.
