We had a new KitchenAid refrigerator about 18 months ago – and got a card in the mail to order a new (DROP?) water filter – for about $40. Thinking this was a ridiculous price I found these replacements for about $6 each. Perfect fit.Having reset the reminder a couple of times with the original filter – and the water still tasted fine, I worked out that filling a sports bottle twice a day (1 liter / day) and using very little ice – these filter should be good for about 6 years not 6…
